This is an early Leica model 1(c) #48539 which dates to 1930.  It has been upgraded (likely by the leica factory in early 1930s) to a standard lens mount and had a flash terminal added but otherwise looks completely original with all the original Nickel fittings.  The lens is a standard 5cm elmat dating to 1932 - again a clue the camera was factory upgraded in this year.

Full working order.  It has a lovel patina showing considerable use but no abuse or dings.

A lovely example of a very early leica to representing thaty these cameras were made to last a lifetime!
