This is the upgraded "rare earth glass" replacement for the original f3.5 summaron for the M3 and is the sharpest of all the early wide angles in our experience.  Excellent glass and average cosmetics on the barrel.  Made in Germany version.  NB  Only usable on the M3, not on other M cameras.
